A mural can be executed in a couple of ways. Where it is appropriate I can paint a mural directly onto a prepared wall. Otherwise I use the technique of marouflage. This involves painting the bulk of the design on canvas or paper in my studio. These can then be rolled up and transported to site where they can be installed by a specialist wallpaper hanger. This is a great advantage for larger projects where the painting can take several months, or when the room is still under construction or renovation.
